Community Driven: Free Cancer Support Programs by Stevie's Angels

As the saying goes, "It takes a village," and in the case of Stevie's Angels, it couldn't be more accurate. This volunteer-led nonprofit organization is on a mission to support young women battling cancer through a wide range of free services and programs. Empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community, Stevie's Angels is making a real difference in the lives of those fighting this difficult disease.

At the heart of Stevie's Angels is their Core Mission of H.O.P.E. - Helping Other People Everyday. This mission honors the life of Stevie JoEllie Bragg, whose courageous battle with cancer inspired the creation of the organization, and is the essence of Stevie's character and life. Sadly, Stevie lost her 15 year battle with cancer on November 24, 2021, but her legacy lives on through the work of Stevie's Angels.

Stevie's Angels provides resource guidance and referrals as well as FREE care packages for young women in active cancer treatment. These packages provide practical items and thoughtful touches to help brighten their day and make their journey a little bit easier.

One of the key programs Stevie's Angels is developing, in collaboration with Onyxx Repository's and the PullUp Rideshare App is the PullUp Sisterhood: Safe Rides for Women by Women which provides safe and reliable rides for women by women in New Jersey. This program aims to empower women drivers with a flexible income opportunity that pays well above the industry standard (their drivers are paid 70% to 80% of the total ride fare) and a safer transportation option for it's target market of women passengers.

Stevie's Angels goal for the PullUp Sisterhood: Safe Rides for Women by Woman program is to be able to raise operational funds to be able to provide FREE transportation for cancer patients get to and from important medical appointments but also offer a supportive and understanding environment during what can be a challenging time.

Stevie's Angels existing volunteer led programs includes FREE House cleaning and organization services for cancer patient, guidance and support navigating a FREE access to a web based AI-driven credit dispute and credit repair letter generating software through DIYCreditUpgrade.org because they understand that dealing with the financial fall out, physical fatigue and all the implications of a cancer diagnosis can be incredibly stressful, these services aim to alleviate some of that burden for cancer patients and their families.
