Stevie's Angels Story
Formerly Stevie JoEllie's Cancer Care Fund, Stevie’s Angels is a nonprofit public charity organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Our mission is to empower and support young women with cancer, survivors, and their caregivers by providing free financial literacy education, personal development tools, community support resources and referrals. Stevie's Angels Mission, Vision and Goals honor Stevie JoEllie Bragg's legacy of kindness, courage and hope in the face of a terminal diagnosis.
Stevie lost her 15 year battle with Cancer on November 24, 2021. She was initially diagnosed with Stage II Follicular Variant Papillary Carcinoma at the age of 16. She fought valiantly and often silently through many cancer recurrences and several "other" cancers and health complications over the years.
Stevie JoEllie's Cancer Care Fund closed it's doors in 2015 and transitioned to a web based Thyroid Cancer Awareness, Access to Care Fund to a Cancer Care Advocacy, Resource Sharing and Referral Agency.
After Stevie's death in 2021 we began thinking of ways to keep her memory alive and help support young women with cancer, survivors and their caregivers in meaningful, practical ways without duplicating what other groups and agencies are currently doing.
If we knew then, what we know now....
Stevie's Angels was born from the lessons we learned through Stevie's experience as a teenager and young woman with cancer, and her mother's financial difficulties as a caregiver. Helping others rebuild financially after a long term catastrophic illness like cancer is very personal to us.
We support young women with cancer, survivors and caregivers empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community.
Our core mission is H.O.P.E.
Stevie's Angels has partnered with Onyxx Repository Foundation through their PullUp Rideshare App to launch the PullUp Sisterhood: Safe Rides for Women by Women Program, empowering women with both a flexible income opportunity that pays them above industry standards AND a safer transportation option in New Jersey. Our drivers retain 70% to 80% of the total Trip Fare which is remarkable.
Our goal for this program is to raise operational funds through donations and sponsorships to be able to provide FREE TRANSPORTATION to female cancer patients, survivors and their caregivers.

We believe in the strength of every woman, in her ability to define her future and make a positive impact on the world.
Our Mission
Stevie's Angels is dedicated to providing essential support and resources to young women battling cancer, empowering them to face their challenges with strength and hope.

Our Vision
Our vision is to create a community where every young woman with cancer feels supported, empowered, and equipped to navigate their journey with resilience and optimism.
